It wasn't just subject-based roles on display; there were also opportunities in business support, pastoral care, and other essential areas within the college.

"I came to the event, and everyone was lovely, friendly, and they showed me to the department I would like to work in. Then about four months later a position did become available.

My favourite benefits of working at the college are the pension, and the fact we shut down for two weeks for the Christmas holiday. It’s lovely to be able to spend some time at home with my family."

Warren Barlow, a Trainee Lecturer in Electrical Installation, also praised the supportive environment:

"Everyone in the department has helped me to build my confidence, my subject knowledge, and my teaching abilities.
