
Two dedicated apprentices working in a local nursery are proving that it’s never too late to upskill, thanks to the Early Years Level 5 Apprenticeship offered at Bury College.
We are delighted that you will be joining us at the Bury College A Level Introductory Day on Friday 24th June. Please see below key information about the day:
During the day you will have the opportunity to:
On arrival please report to the Woodbury Centre Main Entrance. Please ensure you have arrived ready for your registration starting at 9.00am.

Please see below the timings for the day:
9:00 – 9:45am: Registration / Tutorial
10:00 – 10:50am: Session One
11:00 – 11:50am: Session Two
12:00 – 12.30pm: Lunch
12:30 - 13:20pm: Session Three
13:30- 14:20pm: Session Four
During your registration session you will be provided with your timetable for the day. Your timetable is individual to you so it is important you keep this safe. Your timetable will tell what room to report to for each of your sessions (there will be plenty of staff on hand to help direct you to the correct rooms).
During the day you will have the chance to experience your three chosen A Level subjects and will also have the opportunity to visit the Enrichment Fair in the Sports Hall.
Lunch will be 12:00 -12:30pm. We have a number of catering facilities on campus that will be open for you to use on your Introductory Day, these include:
At our onsite catering facilities, you can pay with cash or on card (a minimum spend of £2.50 when paying on card). You are also welcome to bring you own lunch as we have lots of social spaces on campus for you to use whilst you enjoy your lunch. Alternatively, you are welcome leave campus but must be back in time for the start of your next session.

There are no fire drills planned for the day. Therefore, if the alarm sounds please follow the directions of the Bury College member of staff to the nearest fire evacuation point.
Please note, due to attendance at this event being voluntary, we will not be monitoring or reporting any absences throughout the day.

Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
