Free Skills KIt

Learner Support Fund and Bursary

If you’re studying a part-time course, you may be eligible for additional financial support. Get support towards:

  • Childcare and travel costs
  • Compulsory course costs/trips
  • £4.50 a day towards cost of food
  • Free Skills Kit

Skills Kits are available for those in receipt of the Bursary and include materials and equipment to support you in your studies and to carry out practical elements of the course. Please check the Additional Information section of each course for more details and how to access this free kit.

Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
