Bury College Public Services students support Greater Manchester Police through Youth Scrutiny Group

We are delighted that you will be joining us at our Bury College Vocational and T Level Introductory Day on Tuesday 4th July. Please see below some key information about the day:
During your 2.5-hour session you will have the opportunity to:
When you booked your place on the Introductory Day, you will have received a confirmation email and ticket detailing your course, the time that you are due to attend, and which building to report to. Your ticket is also at the bottom of your reminder email. Please if possible have this to hand on arrival. There will be lots of staff available to support you.
You will be attending either the morning or afternoon session:
On your booking confirmation you will have either been instructed to report to the Woodbury Centre, the Millennium Centre or the Health and Digital Centre. Please see below a campus map.
Your session will be for 2.5 hours and during which you will have an opportunity for a comfort break. We have a number of catering facilities and social spaces on campus that will be available for you to use on your Introductory Day, these include:
At our onsite catering facilities, you can pay with cash or on card (a minimum spend of £2.50 is required on card).
Should you have any SEND requirements, please contact our Additional Learning Support Team on SEND@burycollege.ac.uk including your name, the event you have signed up for and your support requirements.
There are no fire drills planned for the day. Therefore, if the alarm sounds please follow the directions of the Bury College member of staff to the nearest fire evacuation point.
Please note, due to attendance at this event being voluntary, we will not be monitoring attendance or reporting any absences throughout the day.

If you are joining us for a Public Services or Sport taster session, please wear appropriate clothing for practical activities. If you are attending for a Performing Arts session please wear appropriate clothing (preferably black clothing).

Our art students have brought a splash of colour and creativity to Bury Hospice with a striking new mural celebrating the spirit of the local community. Painted by students from the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, the mural features vibrant hydrangeas and iconic Manchester Bees, symbolising unity, resilience, and the six towns of Bury.
