This is a course for those who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Students on this course are fully supported to access a varied range of sessions designed to develop life and independence skills. You will also study a range of ASDAN Units. Sessions include; Maths, English, Cooking, Community, Work Experience, Life Skills and Yoga.
Where appropriate, you may progress onto an Entry Level 1 programme.
Entry is subject to interview and school/college reference EHCP (if applicable), initial assessments and must be working at or towards Entry Level. Curriculum is tailored around the student group and individual outcomes.
A full-time one-year course starting in September.
Sessions include; Cooking, Community, Work Experience, Life Skills and Yoga. English and maths will be developed and qualifications taken where appropriate. The course is made up of units. Assessment is continuous throughout the programme.
You will develop life and employability skills which include learning how to become more independent.
You may undertake internal or external work experience.
There will be trips and visits to develop you socially and academically.
