Bury College has a long and established reputation for excellence in academic
and vocational studies as acknowledged by the recent Ofsted Inspection and national
award of Beacon Status by the Learning & Skills Council.
Our results are consistently above the national average and in 2009
the College’s A level pass rate by examination entry was 99%,
this reinforces Bury College’s Beacon status for excellence
and its outstanding support for students.
In addition to academic
successes, there are excellent results for Vocational A Level and
National Diploma courses with 100% achievement in 38 subjects.
