Financial Support
- Bury College is providing a bursary fund for learners aged 16-18 years old who are starting College in September 2012 and who have a household income of £25,521 or less.
- For those aged 16-18 years old with an income of £16,190 or less you will receive a bursary of £30 per fortnight plus additional support with the costs of essential college equipment.
- For those aged 16-18 years old with an income of £25,521 or less you will be able to apply for support with the costs of essential College equipment.
- In special circumstances, for learners who are aged 16-18 years old and who are in receipt of Income Support, are in care or have recently left care, there is a bursary of £60 per fortnight available.
- For learners who are aged 16-18 years old and do not fall into these categories, the College may be able to provide support or offer contributions towards kit or equipment.
- For learners who are aged 19 or over, there is a Discretionary Learner Support Fund available for help towards general college costs and also the cost of childcare.

- Free return coach services from Bury North, Rochdale, Rawtenstall, Middleton/Heywood, North Manchester/Bury South, Littleborough, Bolton North and Bolton South.
