  • Oxbridge Entrants - Over recent years there have been 25 successful Oxbridge entrants to study Mathematics, Sciences, History, Languages, Geography, Law, Computing, Architecture, English, English Literature and Engineering.
  • There were some excellent individual performances over recent years. 25 students achieved four or more Grade As in their A-levels (not including AS.)
  • In 10/11, 48 students achieved 6 or more A/AS level passes.
  • In 10/11, 190 students achieved 5 or more A/AS level passes.
  • In 09/10, 655 students achieved 4 or more A/AS level passes.
  • In recent years, candidates have achieved one of the top five marks nationally for A-level Psychology and Computing, and Applied Double Award ICT.
  • In recent years, candidates achieved one of the top ten marks nationally for Leisure and Tourism, Engineering and Business
  • In 10/11 over 900 students progressed to university having studied Advanced Level courses (ALevel/Vocational A Level/National Diplomas).
  • This is the College’s best ever year for university progression. Students have secured places at a number of the country’s top universities including The University of Manchester, The University of York, The University of Leeds, University College London, The University of Sheffield and The University of Liverpool, and have been successful in gaining places on a wide range of prestigious courses including Medicine, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Astrophysics, Optometry, Pharmacy, Zoology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Languages, Accounting & Finance, Journalism, History, Archaeology, English, Law, Geography, Art and Psychology.
