Bury College Pass Rates
Outstanding Results 2011
Bury College’s excellent track record of achievement continues. An initial study of the results indicates an exceptional pass rate of over 99% for Advanced Level courses.
This is another year that Bury College’s Advanced Level results reinforce the recent Ofsted inspection, which established that Bury College remains outstanding in all areas. Bury College is currently the highest performing further education college in Greater Manchester. Source: Data Authority (Government Body).
The College has seen outstanding achievement in A Levels, Vocational A Levels and National Diploma courses with 100% pass rates in 44 Subjects and the number of higher grades again significantly increasing. A Level Subjects with 100% success rates include: Further Mathematics; French; German; Spanish; Environmental Science; English Literature; English Language; English Language & Literature; Fine Art; Art, Craft & Design; Graphics; Photography; Textiles; Accounts; ICT; Media; Film Studies; Theatre Studies; Music Technology.
Once again, significant numbers of our students have successfully secured university places. The wide range of courses Bury College students have secured places on includes: Medicine, Physics, Modern Languages, English Language and English Literature, Law, Psychology and Statistics, History, Chemical Engineering, Primary Education, Music Technology, Art, Graphic Design, Experimental Film Production, Sports Therapy.
