Bury College recently hosted a Higher Education (HE) Fair for its current learners, welcoming representatives from over 20 different universities.
The event, which was held on campus in the Sports Centre on Wednesday 30th April 2025, gave students an invaluable opportunity to explore their post-college options and speak directly with exhibitors about future study.
Institutions including Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Leeds and Edge Hill University were among those in attendance and each showcased a diverse range of higher education programmes.
Bury College University Centre also exhibited at the event, highlighting to students the exciting progression routes available right on their doorsteps.
Students came away from Bury College’s HE Fair feeling informed and inspired.
One student said “I found the HE Fair very useful. I discovered another course that I’d like to pursue when I go to university”. Another added, “The HE Fair was informative. It was good to find different options that you might not expect to be interested in”.
The event allowed learners to ask questions, seek advice and figure out their next steps after college. Bury College looks forward to continuing to support students on their journey to higher education.
