These courses are for those who wish to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of and develop skills in the dynamic Travel and Tourism sector. The aim of these
work-related qualifications is to prepare you for entry to a range of progression opportunities including higher education or employment. You will uncover the Travel and Tourism sector by studying a wide range of interesting and challenging units.
The topics studied on this course are:
· Being organised
· Developing a personal progression plan
· Working with others
· Researching a topic
· Planning and navigating a route
· Contributing to your community
· Keeping active and healthy
· Contributing to running an event
· Exploring local attractions
As there are no exams you will be assessed in a variety of ways throughout
your qualification. The range of assessment methods include written tasks, presentations, practical sessions and role play.
You will have the opportunity to progress onto Travel & Tourism Level 2
