Bury College officially launches Hair and Beauty Centre with Plaque Unveiling event
The plaque was unveiled by Chris Trees, Chair of Governors at Bury College.
This is a course for those who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Students on the course will be encouraged to explore their individual aspirations and plan their own transition towards a meaningful life. Students will research and arrange individualised weekly activity placements in the community that can be continued once they leave college. These may include leisure and community volunteer activities. Students will also complete related accredited Princes Trust units and continue to study English and maths.

For Moving On: Entry is subject to interview, School/College Reference, EHCP (if applicable) and Initial Assessments. Students should be interested in gaining the skills they need to lead a meaningful life after their transition out of college.
