We have to match flexibility with quality. We aim to help you learn by providing excellent, well qualified tutors and support and guidance in choosing your courses and helping you study and achieve your aims. Adult Learning LeafletOur Millennium, Beacon and Prospects Centres and refurbished Woodbury Centre on Market Street provide excellent facilities for all our learners.

You may not have to pay tuition fees

  • Certain fee reductions are available on a number of our courses. For further information please see the ‘You may not have to pay fees section’ in the Part-Time Prospectus.
  • Free training for employees - Train to Gain funding is available to help employees gain a full Level 2 qualification. Funding is also available towards the cost of full level 3 and 4 qualifications. For further information please contact one of our Business Training Advisors on 0161 765 3650.

The Bury College Business Solutions Team based at Link House in Bury, provide specialist support, information and consultancy for employers and offer highly relevant up to the minute courses to meet business needs.

University Courses

Our Higher Education provision continues to expand with new Foundation Degrees offering students a flexible work based route into Higher Education. Also, our work with the local community and voluntary groups continues and we again have lots of interesting new programmes to offer.

You will find a whole host of courses across all College programmes which will enable you to gain new skills or update and increase your skills in order to develop further your career or to move into new employment areas.

Last year, over 7,500 part time students chose to study with us. Many of them had not returned to education for many years – if they can do it, so can you!
