Trips and Visits
Students at Bury College benefit from a large number of educational and social trips, visits and residentials each academic year. Some examples of these are:
• Theatre or workshop trips
• Sports trips
• University visits including Oxford and Cambridge and Durham
• Visits to locations of interest (Cities, Art Galleries and Museums)
• Field trips (Geography residential to Blencathra)
• Recreation trips such as Alton Towers
Student Action Group
The Student Acton Group is run by students for students. The group promotes the student voice across college, organises charity fundraising events, and also raises awareness of a wide range of student and community issues.
The group provides the ideal opportunity to socialise, enhance your organisational skills, meet new people and make friends. Being part of the Student Action Group gives you the opportunity to make a difference.
