Community Learning

Bury College Community Partnerships

The Community Partnerships team offers learning to community and voluntary groups and learners over the age of 19 are eligible. Courses are small ‘stepping stones’ into adult education, which may lead to a recognised qualification. Most of the learning will take place in the community.

Subjects include Food Hygiene, First Aid, Assertiveness, Confidence Building, Arts and Crafts, Information Technology and many more.

Let us know what you require and we will do our utmost to provide it.

If you run a community/voluntary group and have several people in your group wishing to undertake a learning programme of some sort, then we may be able to provide a friendly and helpful tutor to come out to your centre to deliver the course.
