Overview of the Course

About the programme

This tutor-led, 13-week programme builds on the skills and experience gained from the Computerised Accounts Level 3 course. Delegates will be expected to attend three hours per week, either in the evening or during the day. This will enable delegates to sit the examination for the City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Computerised Accounts.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is aimed at delegates who wish to further develop their skills in using Sage 50 software.

Course content

Topics will enable delegates to interpret and process transactions, giving delegates a diverse knowledge of Sage 50. Alongside prepayments and accruals, delegates will learn how to set up direct debits or record the receipt of a regular income. For example, delegates will purchase vehicles and machinery as fixed assets, and recognise that the depreciation applied to these items must be taken into account when disposing of them. The two and a half hour Level 3 examination will take place during the final session of the course.

Entry requirements

Delegates should have taken the Sage Computerised Accounts Level 2 course or have sufficient experience of Sage 50 software.
