About the Programme
This CACHE awarded course will develop your understanding of the legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures for
safeguarding the welfare of children and
young people including e-safety. It will help to develop your knowledge of what to do when children or young people are ill or
injured, including emergency procedures. As well as helping you to know how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused, harmed or bullied.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone currently working with children and young people in any capacity as well as those interested in work with children or young people.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as written information, questions or re?ection.
