About the Programme
This CACHE awarded course will develop your understanding of how the social, economic and cultural environment can impact on the outcomes of life chances of children and young people; and how practitioners can make a positive difference in outcomes for children and young people. It will also develop your knowledge and understanding of the
possible impact of disability, special requirements (additional needs) and attitudes on positive outcomes for children and young people. It will also consider the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion in promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone currently working with children and young people in any capacity as well as those interested in work with children or young people. This is a level 3 course and we recommend that you have done some study at level 2 although this is not mandatory.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as written information, questions or re?ection.
