|Course Title||Health & Safety and Environmental training - The Manager’s Role in Implementing Health, Safety and Environmental|
WHO: This module is suitable for middle-level managers who are responsible for the
performance and development of one or more teams and of the individuals within
these teams. They also play a part in planning and implementation of key initiatives
within the organisation.
This module will consider and respond to current best practice in terms of health,
safety and sustainability for business.
The module includes:
• Health, safety and environmental standards
• Risk analysis and control
• Emergency planning and response
• Understanding the benefits of sustainable practice
• Promoting a positive safety culture
Participants will be given the opportunity to consider relevant legal requirements,
industry standards and emerging issues to help them evaluate current health, safety
and environmental systems within the workplace. They will also develop an action
plan to address emerging risks, improve health, safety and environmental
awareness, and encourage positive attitudes and practices within the workplace.
