About the Programme
This CACHE awarded course will develop your understanding of the links between language, behaviour, emotional and social development difficulties. It will develop your understanding of how to support positive speech, language and communication development for children
and young people with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties; as well as how to how to adapt strategies and approaches to behavioural, emotional and social development to meet speech, language and communication needs. And how you work with others to support the speech, language and communication.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone currently working with children and young people in any capacity as well as those interested in work with children or young people. This is a level 3 course and we recommend that you have done some study at level 2 although this is not mandatory.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as written information, questions or re?ection.
