Overview of the Course

This is the course for you if you are interested in getting started in the hospitality industry. You might want to work as a chef, kitchen assistant, housekeeper, waitress or hotel receptionist. You don't need a job or work placement to take these qualifications.

Who is this course aimed at?

This qualification is suitable if you are starting out and want a good basic understanding of the industry.

Progression

It is an excellent starting point and will prepare you for ongoing study or to find your first job in hospitality.

What are the entry requirements?

You will be asked to complete an initial assessment when you attend your enrolment.

Duration

You will attend this course two days a week for two weeks.

There are various start dates throughout the year - September: 20th, 21st and 27th, 28th. November: 1st, 2nd and 9th and 15th. January: 17th, 18th and 24th, 25th. February: 28th. March: 1st and 7th, 8th. April: 25th, 26th. May: 2nd and 3rd. June: 6th, 7th
Two weeks from commencement.

Attendance

You will attend class on a Wednesday and a Thursday 9.30 am – 4.00 pm for two weeks.

Costs

This is a free course however an eligibility criteria applies. Cost if not eligible is £280.
