|Course Title||Cisco CCNA2 - Routing and Switching Essentials|
About the programme
The Cisco CCNA 2 curriculum provides the education and training in how to configure a router and switch for basic functionality.
Who is it aimed at?
This course is designed for people working or looking to move into roles as Network Specialists, Network Administrators, Network Support Engineers, or for anyone who has an interest in understanding computer communications.
By the end of this course delegates have the skills to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with RIPv1, RIPv2, single-area and multi-area OSPF, virtual LANs and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
A good understanding of computer hardware is essential, alongside previous knowledge or experience of using computer networks. A good level of Maths and English is also required. This is a very demanding course and will require a large amount of private study. Delegates need to show the necessary motivation to plan their learning independently from the tutorials that are provided.
