About the programme

The Cisco CCNA 1 curriculum provides the education and training required for installing, monitoring and troubleshooting network infrastructure products designed by the industry leader in IP networking.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is designed for people working or looking to move into roles as Network Specialists, Network Administrators, Network Support Engineers, or for anyone who has an interest in understanding computer communications.

Course content

This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components and models of the internet and computer networks. The principles of IP addressing and fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media and operations to provide a foundation for the curriculum.

Entry requirements

A good understanding of computer hardware is essential, alongside previous knowledge or experience of using computer networks. A good level of Maths and English is also required.
