The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the awarding body for qualifications in the field of Human Resource Management. This Level 5 qualification is the intermediate course in the CIPD’s library of human resource qualifications.
Who is it aimed at?
Set at an undergraduate level, this Intermediate Certificate is ideal if delegates want to study a recognised professional qualification, or want to progress their career by improving their knowledge and skills. This qualification enables them to develop their ability to evaluate the effectiveness of human resources models and practice.
The programme is delivered in two sessions covering six units with 2 units being taught each evening. You will be assessed by completing assignments, there are no examinations:-
Owing to the academic nature of the course, a Level 3 qualification ie Certificate in Human Resource Practice, HND/HNC or equivalent, would be of benefit. A basic standard of literacy and numeracy would also be beneficial. Delegates may be required to complete an informal telephone interview/discussion. If delegates are completely new to the field of human resources, they are advised to complete the Certificate in Human Resource Practice before enrolling on this course.
