About the Programme
This CACHE awarded course will develop your understanding of the factors that may impact on the outcomes and life chances
of children and young people; and how poverty and disadvantage affect children and young people’s development. You will also develop an understanding of the importance of early intervention for children and young people who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. As well as understanding the importance of support and partnership in improving outcomes for
children and young people who are experiencing poverty and disadvantage; and the role of the practitioner.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone currently working with children and young people in any capacity as well as those interested in work with children or young people. This is a level 3 course and we recommend that you have done some study at level 2 although this is not mandatory.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as written information, questions or re?ection.
