|Course Title||C&G 2382-12 - 17th Edition - Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (With Amendments)|
This qualification ensures delegates are up-to-date with the latest industry regulations on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2008. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).
This level will suit delegates who are practising electricians with specific qualifications, who need to update their certification to meet the latest edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. Alternatively, delegates may be newly qualified electricians who need to gain this certificate.
The 2382-12 17th Edition Regulations includes all essential elements of the previous 17th Edition course and also now includes the new amendment two sections. It is a classroom based course with no practical work and focusses on the essential aspects of 17th Edition Regulations. There is a two-hour online multiple-choice examination at the end of the course to assess understanding of the subject matter.
Delegates should be practising electricians or be newly qualified and need to gain this qualification.
