Overview of the Course

This course is suitable for those who already have some basic IT skills and allows you to work towards a recognised IT qualification which focuses on developing your employability skills.

  •  Improving Productivity Using IT
  •  Word Processing
  •  Using Email
  •  Presentation Software

Who is this course aimed at?

This qualification is suitable for adults returning to study, those seeking to develop greater independence and those who have not yet achieved accredited qualifications. You will need to have some prior IT knowledge or to have successfully completed the Entry Level 3 course prior to enrolment on this Level of study.

Progression

This qualification allows for progression to further studies in IT or to progress into employment.

What are the entry requirements?

You will be asked to complete an initial assessment when you attend your enrolment.

Duration

Three weeks.

Dates

There are start dates available during the following months - December: 7th, 8th. February: 1st, 2nd and 8th, 9th and 15th, 16th. April: 19th, 20th and 26th, 27th. May: 3rd and 4th. June: 7th, 8th and 14th, 15th and 21st, 22nd.
Three weeks from commencement.

Attendance

The course will run on Thursdays from 9.30 am – 4.00 pm and onFridays from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm.

Costs

This is a free course however an eligibility criteria applies. Cost if not eligible is £265.
