Overview of the Course

If you are interested in a career within the customer service industry then this course will provide you with a basic understanding of the impact of customer service and will equip you with the necessary skills to work and support customer service delivery. The basic elements of how to deliver an excellent customer experience will be learned. You don't need to have any prior qualifications.

You will cover a range of topics including:

  • Introduction to customer service
  • Types of employment within the sector
  • What is good customer service and what effect does it have on businesses
  • How to deliver good customer service

Who is this course aimed at?

This course will suit you if you are looking to work in the customer service industry but currently have no knowledge and experience. At this level you will develop your customer service knowledge.

Progression

This qualification is generic to any industry in customer service and can lead to a variety of jobs including; customer service employee, telephone call centre operator and retail or leisure centre customer contact.

What are the entry requirements?

You will be asked to complete an initial assessment when you attend your enrolment.

Attendance

2 days per week Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.30 am – 4.00 pm

Costs

The course is free however an eligibility criteria applies. The cost, if you don't meet the eligibility criteria is £185.
