The AAT Access Award in Accounting Software offers you the opportunity to develop your skills in using accounting software. This qualification can offer a route into employment. If you study the manual bookkeeping qualification (or if you hold existing manual bookkeeping skills), then you may also be interested in studying this qualification to gain skills in accounting software in order to develop your career as a bookkeeper.

This qualification will particularly suit you if you are seeking tangible and finance specific skills or seeking to validate your existing skills in order to enter into employment.
The skills developed in this qualification can lead to employment in junior or supporting administrative roles in companies across a wide range of public and private sectors, for example, as a: • Trainee bookkeeper • Data entry clerk • Accounts administrator • Invoice entry administrator • Payments administrator. During this qualification you will also develop your confidence which will help you to seek employment upon completion.
You will be asked to complete an initial assessment when you attend your enrolment. Minimum entry requirement is Level 1 or above.
You will attend class for a total of 13.5 hours, timetable to be confirmed.
