This course provides you with a comprehensive level of manual bookkeeping knowledge, with the aim of understanding the double entry bookkeeping system and associated processes.
The topics covered include: Bookkeeping transactions and Bookkeeping controls.
This course is an ideal starting point for anyone wishing to pursue a career in bookkeeping. The purpose of this level is to offer a grounding in bookkeeping knowledge and skills needed to progress either to employment or to further study.
You can progress to the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
No formal qualifications are necessary. An assessment will take place prior to enrolment which will establish your suitability for the course.
You may study this on a day release basis on a Wednesday 10am – 5pm or on a two evening basis on Wednesday and Thursday 5.30-8.30pm.
