This course will enable delegates to inspect and test existing qualifications. It is one of the replacement qualifications for City & Guilds 2391-10.
It has been developed for qualified and practising electricians, with some experience of inspection and testing and who wish to update their knowledge. It will enable delegates to inspect and test a range of instalments in both domestic and commercial settings, as well as existing installations carried out by other domestic installers or electricians.
This six-day course will teach the principles, practices and legislation for the periodic inspection and reporting of electrical installations in accordance with statutory and non-statutory regulations and requirements. The examination for this course comprises an online examination, and written and practical examinations.
It is expected that delegates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles, and experience of electrical installation work. Delegates must hold the latest qualification (currently City & Guilds 2382-12 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
