|Course Title||2394-01 - Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations - City & Guilds|
This qualification will enable delegates to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to professionally design and install or inspect and test electrical installations. It is one of the replacement qualifications for the City & Guilds 2391-10.
This qualification is ideal for qualified practising electricians already working in industry but need to gain a qualification in initial and fundamental inspection and testing and who wish to update their knowledge of initial electrical installation techniques.
This five-day course prepares delegates to gain an understanding of the principles, practices and legislation for the initial verification of electrical installations. The course covers the skills and knowledge needed for the inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrical installations. The examination for this course comprises an online examination, and written and practical examinations.
It is expected that delegates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles, and experience of electrical installation work. Delegates must hold the latest qualification (currently City & Guilds 2382-12 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
