Bury College is centrally located near the town centre within walking distance of the Bury Metrolink and Bus Station.

Free Coach Service for Students

In response to overwhelming demand from students, Bury College is delighted to be able to offer Free Return Coach Services. From September 2011, the return coach service routes include:

Bolton North via Halliwell and Breightmet, Bolton North via Turton, Bolton South, Rochdale/Rawtenstall, Middleton/Heywood, Rochdale, North Manchester/Bury South and Bury North areas. The coaches will stop at any designated bus stop along the routes. Subject to availability.

Directions By Car

From the motorway:
Exit M66 Junction 2. Follow the signs for Bury town centre (1 mile). Pass the new Rock Shopping complex situated on your right and then further along past the DW Fitness Centre on your left. After 100 metres turn left into Market Street at the next set of traffic lights.

The Woodbury Centre is directly on your right at the top of Market Street. Limited parking is available in the Millennium Centre car park (see below).

The Millennium Centre is on the right further down Market Street, opposite the Athletics Track. The Prospects/Beacon/Aspire/Innovation Centres are located to the rear of the Millennium Centre.

For access to parking at Millennium, Prospects, Beacon, Aspire and Innovation Centres, turn right just after the Millennium Centre. At the barrier, press the buzzer and reception or a member of security will advise you on your best opportunity for parking.

 

The Construction Skills Centre is on East Street; with the Millennium Centre on your right follow Market Street down to the first roundabout and turn left onto Wellington Road. At the t-junction turn left onto Park Hills Road and after 50 metres left again onto East Street.

 

From Manchester:
Straight along the A56 from Bury New Road into Bury (approx 10 miles).

At the traffic lights at the junction where Parkhills Road / Radcliffe Road crosses the A56, take the middle lane. Through the lights, this becomes a right hand only turn, into Wellington Road. On Wellington Road turn left at the first roundabout onto Market Street.

The Millennium Centre is on your left opposite the Athletics Track. The Prospects/Beacon/Aspire/Innovation Centres are located to the rear of the Millennium Centre.

The Woodbury Centre is at the top of Market Street on the left. Limited parking is available in the Millennium Centre car park (see above).

Public Transport

Bury College is also accessible via Metrolink or bus.
