About the vacancy

Immediate start for trainee dental nurse to join our small and friendly team. We are looking for an individual who is well presented, punctual, with good communication skills and a genuine interest in this role, and whose motivation and enthusiasm will be evident at the interview.

  • Successful applicants will provide full clinical support to dentists and patients including chairside assistance, infection control and patient care.
  • To assist with reception or any clerical duties as requested and perform such other tasks as reasonably requested by the management team.
  • Full training will be given, and we have qualified staff on hand to aid in your development.
  • You will also be required to perform a receptionist service to patients including booking appointments and processing payments.
  • Taking confidential information from patients.
  • Developing digital radiographs.
  • You must have excellent customer service and organisational skills, good attention to detail and excellent IT skills.
  • You must also be flexible and punctual.

You will receive the following training:

  • Dental nurse integrated L3 apprenticeship standard
  • A qualification approved by the General Dental Council - required to register as a Dental Nurse
  • This is a work-based qualification with weekly timetabled classes (Expected to fall on Wednesdays)

Subject to a successful apprenticeship you will be employed by the company.

The starting salary is £13,312.00 for 40 hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
