About the vacancy

As the Operations Co-ordinator you will undertake a wide range of tasks, ensuring the office and staff have adequate support to work efficiently ensuring the smooth running of the office & engineering dept and contribute to sustainable growth.

  • Assisting sales to create work schedules for all engineers.
  • Supporting senior management with the enforcement of company policies and standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects.
  • Planning project management alongside the Engineering Manager, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and helping team members to various deliverables.
  • Preparing service and purchasing contracts.
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments.
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Order office/burner supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
  • Maintain contact lists.

You will receive the following training:

  • Business Administration L3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Monthly timetabled classes.

  • Essential : English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent - C/4 or above)

Outcome

  • A full time position with the company if both parties are happy. If company targets are hit, there will be an opportunity to head up the office as Operations Manager and train a member of staff.

The starting salary is £13,286.00 for 37 hours Monday – Thursday – 8:30am – 4:45pm Friday – 8:30am – 12:00pm.
