Developing Individual Potential    •    Inspiring Excellence    •    Promoting Prosperity Through Knowledge

Projects

Bury College has a dedicated External Funding team who aim to develop ideas and projects that mainstream funding cannot support. Externally funded projects allow the College to:

• Develop and trial new ideas and courses.

• Target support at dedicated groups, such as those working within priority sectors in the region, those living in regeneration areas, unemployed residents and those with special educational needs.

• Offer additional support such as travel, childcare and course costs that remove barriers and allow learners to re-engage with education.

• Develop partnerships with key agencies, such as Connexions, Job Centre Plus, the North West Development Agency and other colleges to ensure that provision meets the needs of residents and the economy.
