You are here | Home - About Us - Bury College Facilities - Language Laboratory
The digital language laboratory is situated in the
Beacon Centre of the College. All students of modern foreign languages have their lessons in it and can also use it outside class time.
The laboratory is used for all four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Listening materials are digitised and stored in mp3 format so that students can copy files and work on them at home. There is also easy access to the internet and the College's virtual learning environment (Moodle).
Studying languages at Bury College will give you the opportunity to become much more fluent and confident in your chosen language. Being able to practise in the language laboratory and having access to satellite TV, internet language games and quizzes makes language learning at Bury College challenging, fun and rewarding.
