Bury College - Projects

Bury College has a dedicated External Funding team, who aim to develop ideas and projects that mainstream funding cannot support. Externally funded projects allows the college to:

  • Develop and trial new ideas and courses.
  • Target support at dedicated groups, such as those working within priority sectors in the region, those living in regeneration areas, unemployed residents and those with special educational needs.
  • Offer additional support such as travel, childcare and course costs that remove barriers and allow learners to re-engage with education.
  • Develop partnerships with key agencies, such as Connexions, Job Centre Plus, the North West Development Agency and other College’s to ensure provision meets the needs of residents and the economy.
